Pointillism

this Collection
This collection is comprised of both black & white, and color pointillism. Pointillism is a painting made up of different sizes/concentrations of "dots" that show the light and shadow that is art. Black & white pointillism is a single layer of black ink. Color pointillism is several layers of different color "dots" to get the precise shades and /or depth of your subject.

Acrylic is the medium where I "let my hair down"! I can play and experiment to my heart's content - because I can always paint over it if it doesn't turn out the way I had hoped! I am more playful and whimsical in this art form - as you will see as you scroll through my display. Enjoy!

Pastels

this Collection
Pastel is the newest medium I have ventured to "dabble" (or should I say "scumble") in. With the help of an artist friend, Jeanette Butler, I have found another art form to love. So far, my only pastels have been florals, but I hope to expand my horizons someday soon.
